Arnold “Arnie” Hurwit, 83, of West Hartford, died Jan. 26. He was the husband of Sondra “Sandy” Katz Hurwit. He was the son of the late James S. and Mary Gitlin Hurwit. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Janis (Michael) Sullivan, Laurie (Steve) Strauss, Cindy (Al) Langer; grandchildren Michael Trenholm, Jennifer Strauss, and Adam Strauss; and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Cierra Trenholm, and Dyllan, Logan and Amaya Trafford. He was predeceased by his brother Carl G. Hurwit.
