Goodman appointed to hospitality council

WINDSOR – Diane Goodman, president of the Goodman Speakers Bureau, has been appointed to the Hospitality Partner Advisor yCouncil (HPAC), part of the Financial & Insurance Conference Planners (FICP) association.  Goodman was selected by FICP members to serve on the Council in recognition of her support of and involvement in the organization, particularly its educational events.
As a member of the Council, Goodman will help address issues relating to the hospitality industry. She also will support the Council’s efforts to encourage hospitality suppliers to become or remain actively involved in the association.  Other duties of the HPAC include coordinating and supporting the planning of educational opportunities, and serving as a liaison among FICP committees.
Goodman is the only speakers bureau executive to serve on the Council.  Other members represent hotels and resorts, independent contractors and brokers, tourism bureaus, destination management companies, airlines, cruise lines, entertainment companies, and other travel-related services companies.
“The Goodman Speakers Bureau has consistently recognized the vital role FICP plays in the meetings industry, addressing the specific needs of insurance and financial planners throughout the country,” Goodman said.  “I am honored to be appointed to this advisory council and look forward to contributing to the organization on a deeper level.”
