Leon ‘Red’ Darefsky, 86, of Bloomfield, died Jan. 25. He was the husband of Rosalyn (Sherman) Darefsky. He was the son of the late Irving and Alice (Weisman) Darefsky. He was an Army veteran of World War II.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Marla Darefsky Bergman, Elyse Darefsky, and Robert (Amy) Darefsky; grandchildren, Kayla Bergman, and Jordan and Carlie Darefsky; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Estelle and Myron Freed; sister-in-law, Selma Kaplan. He was predeceased by his sister Mildred Becker and his grandson, Jared Bergman.
