Samuel Kantrowitz, 94, of Hamden, died Jan. 27. He was the husband of Harriet (Berman) Kantrowitz. Born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., he was the son of the late Phillip & Ida (Henes) Kantrowitz. He  is survived by his children, Sherry Kent of Fresh Meadows, N.Y. & Hamden, and Richard Kantrowitz of Hamden; his sister, Violet (Charles) Lud-wig of New Haven.  He was predeceased by his sisters, the late Mildred Rieser and Martha Kantrowitz.
