U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman and his wife Hadassah stopped by The Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield on the eve of Passover, April 18, to wish the residents a sweet and happy holiday. “My mother was one of the founders of The Jewish Home,” Lieberman recalled. “Coming here to honor her tradition of personally wishing you a wonderful Passover means a great deal to me. Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful home.” Lieberman also took time to respond to residents’ questions about the budget, Medicare and other concerns.
