Rock ‘n Rambam

Gene Simmons and family visit the Rambam Health Care Campus.

Gene Simmons, founding member of the rock band, KISS, returned to his roots when he visited Israel’s Rambam Health Care Campus in Israel. Simmons was born at the Haifa hospital in 1949 to Florence Klein, a Hungarian Holocaust survivor, and Peri Witz, of Tirat HaCarmel. When he was eight-years old, Chaim Witz, as he was then known, immigrated with his mother to the US. Simmons was in Israel with his long-time partner, Shannon Tweed and his children, where he is filming an episode of his reality series “Gene Simmons Family Jewels.” Photo credit: Pioter Fliter.
