Charles Rosen, 88, of South Windsor, formerly of Bloomfield, died May 15. He was the  widower of Janice Rosen. He is survived by a son, Steven Rosen and his wife Paula of South Windsor; granddaughters, Lauren and Diana Rosen, and Samantha Hyman; his son-in-law, Paul E. Hyman, MD and a brother, Bernard Rosen of Hartford. He was recently predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Lynn (Rosen) Hyman.
