Greenwich JFS receives $2000 grant

GREENWICH – Jewish Family Services of Greenwich (JFS) has been awarded a $2,000 competitive grant from Hudson City Savings Charitable Foundation to help support the agency’s Supermarketing for Seniors program.
Supermarketing for Seniors is a free grocery shopping and case management program established in 1986 in response to the needs of a growing number of frail and elderly Greenwich residents who want to continue to live quality, independent lives in their own homes, but need assistance in doing their marketing.  Funded by JFS, with partial funding from the United Way, this free service is available to all Greenwich residents over the age of 60.
For more information on this program call JFS at (203) 622-1881.
