Thelma Shapiro, 83, of West Hartford, formerly of Longmeadow, Mass., died June 25. She was the widow of Donald J. Shapiro. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Lena (Greenberg) Rodin. She is survived by her children, Fay (Ernest) deHaas of West Hartford, Rhonda (David) Shevrin of Cherry Hill. N.J.; and her grandchildren, David deHaas, and Scott and Carly Shevrin; and her sister, Charlotte Greenbaum. She was predeceased by her daughter, Debra Shapiro.
