Home resident Gertrude August. Marcus and Gus.

Every summer, Michael Marcus of Danbury stops by for a visit to The Jewish Home in Fairfield.  And when he does, he brings along – or rides into town – with one of his horses.  A former chairman of the Home’s board, it gives Marcus great pleasure to see the delight residents take at having a horse to, well, horse around with.  This year, Marcus brought along his 22-year old quarter horse, Gus, who made fast friends with Home resident Gertrude August.
