Louis Jainchill, 92, of West Hartford, formerly of Bloomfield, died July 29 in New Britain. He was the widower of Nonette “Nunny” (Jaffa) Jainchill. He was the son of the late David and Jenny (Krinsky) Jainchill. He served in the Army Combat Engineers and was captured by the German army during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944. He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Gerald) Friedman; and his granddaughters Sara (Jeffrey) Jeffrey Mayo and Rachel (Domenic) Pizzo. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Florence Tondow and Ruth Jainchill, and his brothers, Harold and Sidney Jainchill.
