The Greater Hartford Synagogue Softball League

The Greater Hartford Synagogue Softball League played the final inning of its 20th season of play on Sunday, August 21 with an exciting championship game.  In a thrilling come from behind win, the Temple Beth Shalom-B’nai Israel team defeated the three-time champion Tikvoh-Sinai team by a score of 11 to 7.  Here, Beth Shalom-B’nai Israel team captain Sherry Shamash accepts the championship trophy from league commissioner Alan Cetel, as the rest of the winning team looks on.
