Sylvia “Sibbie” (Dorman) Hoffman, 94, of Fairfield, died Oct. 22. She was the widow of Lawrence F. Hoffman. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Herman & Rebecca (Goldstein) Dorman. She is survived by her children Diane Olin of Orange and William (Susan) Hoffman of Woodbridge; her sister Dorothy Jacobs of New Haven; her grandchildren, Marc (Jill) Olin, Douglas (Randi) Olin, Carrie Hoffman, Jesse (Michelle) Hoffman; and her great-grandchildren, Emily, Daniel, Ava, and Chase. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Stephen Olin; and her siblings, Freida D. Shure, Irwin and Nathaniel Dorman, Esther D. Sherman, Lillian D. Eimas, and Charlotte D. Schwartz.
