Feeding the hungry

Pictured here restocking the Stamford JFS Kosher Food Pantry are (left to right) Paula Snyder, Robin Webber, Robin Treidel, Spencer Ginsberg, Mark Frank, Leah Schechter, Jason Thalman and Rachel Aaron.

One recent evening in October, volunteers from the group JTT (Jewish Twenties and Thirties) organized and re-stocked the Kosher Food Pantry operated by Stamford’s Jewish Family Service (JFS).  Like other Jewish Family Services throughout the state, the Stamford JFS maintains a kosher food pantry and provides canned and packaged groceries to hundreds of residents in its surrounding communities. For donations to the pantry, please contact your local JFS.
