Ezra puts on a show

Chanukah was a homegrown affair at Ezra Academy on Tuesday evening, Dec. 20. To mark the lighting of the first candle, the entire student body of the Woodbridge day school got in on the act, staging an original Chanukah show. Written by Rabbi Amanda Brodie, assistant head of school and director of Judaic studies, and the school’s eighth graders, the play included both traditional Chanukah music and contemporary pop music. Choreographed by the eighth graders, each grade had a dance and musical number to perform.
