“Israel Inside” to air on Comcast on Demand

A new documentary that explores the positive characteristics of Israeli society from a humanistic, psychological, and emotional perspective will air on Comcast on Demand starting September 15 for limited release.
Narrated by best selling author and former Harvard Professor, Dr. Tal Ben- Shahar, “Israel Inside: How A Small Nation Makes A Big Difference” sidesteps the usual conversation of politics, conflict and violence, and tells the story of the Israeli people – whose resilience has propelled Israel to the forefront of world innovation and progress. Insightful and uplifting, it uses personal stories of triumph to capture the resilient spirit of Israeli society, showcasing Israel’s unique relationship to the rest of the world and highlighting the surprising reality that almost everything in modern society is connected to Israeli innovation and technology.
Despite extreme challenges, Israel became the beta site for solving national and international problems. The film illuminates Israel’s progress in innovation by taking an inside look at the country’s electric vehicle technology, solar panels, and medical marvel “Rewalk,” a device allowing paraplegic individuals to walk.
“This is just a remarkable, remarkable film. And it does so much to project not only positively but visibly in ways that… make you cry, make you reach out, make you feel… it’s absolutely amazing” says Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz.
