Betty (Barnhart) Friedman, 86, of Middletown, died Sept. 19. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Friedman. She was born in Roanoke, Va. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Sharon Sekoll and her husband, Robert of Manchester, Deborah Friedman of Augusta, Me., Sheldon Friedman and wife Susanne of Arlington, Mass., and Jonathan Friedman of Ashland, Ore.; and her grandchildren, Jessica A. Golembeski of Middletown, and Spencer, Sawyer and Zoe Friedman of Arlington, Mass.
