Around Connecticut Southern New England News

Good neighbors

Kindergarteners and first graders from the Sigel Hebrew Academy had fun with Hebrew High School of New England students during their stay there last week.

The bad news was, Hurricane Sandy caused the Bess and Paul Sigel Hebrew Academy of Bloomfield to lose power in their Gabb Road building for the entire week. The good news was, the Hebrew High School of New England in West Hartford didn’t…and so they invited Academy students in grades K through 8 to spend a couple of days in their Bloomfield Avenue facility. It’s nice to have friendly and magnanimous neighbors…especially those with power.
