SELTZER

Dr. Maxim “Mickey” Seltzer, 88, of Woodbridge, died Dec. 4. He was the widower of Fay Leitner. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Mary and Michael Seltzer. He served as a Navy Apprentice Seaman. He served as Captain and Dental Officer in active duty at the front of the Korean War in 1951-1952, where he was awarded two Bronze Stars. He is survived by his children, Dr. Arthur (Dr. Reena) Seltzer and Karen (Clifford) Aaron; his grandchildren, Michael and Aura Seltzer, and Hillary, Lindsay, and Stephanie Aaron. He was also predeceased by his brother, of Sergeant Oscar Seltzer, who was killed in action in the Korean War.
