Merle Ann (Markle) Katz, 75, died Jan. 4. She was the widow of Bernard (Bebs) Katz. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Hyman and Wayno (Todd) Markle. She is survived by her children, David (Pam) Katz of Madison, Richard (Anne) Katz of Woodbridge, Steven (Michelle) Katz of Hamden, and Joanna (Scott) Cooper of Woodbridge; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, Michael, Matthew, Michaela, Christopher, Emily, Owen, Allyson, Sammy, Brian and Victoria. She was also predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Markle.
