There are approximately 5,610,000 Jews in Israel as of 2010, accounting for about 41% of the world’s Jewish population. Israel’s Jewish population is roughly the same size as the U.S. Jewish population. As of 2010, more than 80% of the world’s Jews live in either Israel or the U.S. However, while Jews make up 75.6% of Israel’s population, only 2% of the U.S. population is Jewish.
