“One of the best days of my life”

JCLLarry Little, a resident of the Jewish Association for Community Living group home in West Hartford, had his spirits sent soaring recently, when some very special friends stopped by to spend time with him at the West Hartford Health and Rehabilitation facility, where he is recovering from a recent injury. Larry, an avid fan of the Connecticut Whale hockey team, was pleasantly surprised when representatives from the team paid him a visit, including (left to right) Chris “Omar” Gray of the locker room staff, player Ryan Bourque, and community relations manager Frank Berrian. The men presented Larry with a basket of goodies prepared by the players’ wives and an official team jersey signed by the players. Larry is well known among CT Whale fans for leading those in attendance at games in a dance called “Do the Larry”. Larry proclaimed this surprise visit to be “one of the best days of my life.”
