Max Sasportas, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of West Hartford, died in January, one month short of his 98th birthday. He was the husband of the late Edith (Sack) Sasportas. Max was a son of David and Rose (Candiotti) Sasportas. He was also predeceased by his son Howard, his brothers Abraham and Benjamin Sasportas, and his sisters Welcome DiCicco and Regina Lazerow. He is survived by his children, Linda Schwartz and her husband Michael of Boynton Beach, Fla., David Sasportas and his wife Lorrell of Bloomfield; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
