David and Sharon Bender of Woodbridge and James and Dr. Miri Daly of Enfield announce the engagement of their children, Nina Caledonia London Bender and Kevin James Daly, of New Haven.

The future bride is a 2006 graduate of Amity High School.  She majored in psychology and elementary education at Quinnipiac University, where she received her BA in 2010 and her MA in 2011.

The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Enrico Fermi High School. He received his BA in criminal justice in 2004 from Quinnipiac University, and an MFA in playwriting in 2008 from Indiana University.

A wedding is planned for August 2013 on the beach in Westbrook, where the future bride’s family resides in the summer.
