Solomon Schechter Day School to honor Rabbi Jim and Nancy Rosen

Rabbi Jim & Nancy RosenWEST HARTFORD – The Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford (SSDS) will honor Rabbi Jim and Nancy Rosen for their contributions to the greater Hartford community at the school’s 2013 annual scholarship event, to be held on Wednesday, May 22 at the Millard Theater on the University of Hartford Campus. The evening will feature a performance of the off-Broadway show “A Jew Grows in Brooklyn.”
“We are proud to honor the Rosens for their commitment to the greater Hartford Jewish Community and to Solomon Schechter. Nancy has worked at Schechter for 20 years and Rabbi Rosen has served as a classroom rabbi and in many other capacities at SSDS,” said Rabbi Elliot Goldberg.
Rabbi Rosen is also spiritual leader of Beth El Temple in West Hartford.
The Rosens live in West Hartford and are the parents of three children, Ariella, Adina and Dani. Ariella and Adina are SSDS graduates.
