Walking Against Hunger in Bridgeport

in Fairfield did their part to help feed the hungry by joining one of several Walks Against Hunger organized this month in Bridgeport, New Haven and Norwich by the Connecticut Food Bank. The May 19 walk took participants around Bridgeport’s scenic Seaside Park. Betty Feldman, chairman of the synagogue’s Social Action Committee and leader of the synagogue’s delegation, noted that every dollar raised by the Connecticut Food Bank provides three meals to someone in need and a mere $7 contribution feeds a person for a week.
