BINYAMIN MICHAEL LERNER was born on Monday, June 17 – the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Tammuz – in Pittsburgh, Penn.  He is the son of Sarah and Jeremy Lerner, and the brother of Tzivia Dina, all of Pittsburgh.  Binyamin Michael is the grandson of Howard and Susan Meyerowitz of Bloomfield, and Mary Lerner of Chicago, Ill.  He is named for his late grandfather, Robert Lerner.  Binyamin’s parents point out that he weighed 6 lbs. 13 ozs. at birth – coincidently corresponding to the 613 mitzvot that the Talmud tells us are included in the Torah.
