Carolyn Ganeles opens pediatric practice in Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD — Dr. Carolyn Ganeles, Dr. Scott Kallor and Dr. Janice Lopez have announced the opening this month of Pediatric Partners, a new pediatric and adolescent primary care practice located at 705 Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield.

Carolyn Ganeles, M.D., who lives in West Hartford, attended Brandeis University and Albert Einstein School of Medicine and then completed her pediatric residency training at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center. She has been a practicing primary care pediatrician in Connecticut since 1997, with special interests in adolescent care, breastfeeding, and ADHD.

Scott Kallor, D.O., who attended Clark University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his pediatric residency training at Maimonides Infant and Children’s Hospital. His special interests lie in preventable infectious diseases, working with first time parents, and sleep issues. Janice Lopez, M.D., attended Cornell University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her pediatric residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her special interests lie in the care of foster children, skin conditions, and adolescent care.

The physicians of Pediatric Partners will attend newborns at Hartford Hospital and Saint Francis Medical Center and maintain staff privileges at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
