Ronald Bender, 64, of Oxford, died August 14. He was the husband of Joanne (Berman) Bender. Born in New Haven, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Esther (Cohen) Bender. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kimberly Bender of Washington, D.C., Joshua Bender of Arlington, Va., and Amy Bender and her husband Kevin Kirshenbaum of Manorville, N.Y.; his brother, Gerald Bender of Wildwood, N.J.; and his sisters, Linda (Ellis) Golub and her husband Ellis of Bryn Mawr, Penn., and Gail Cremer and her husband Clyde of Pueblo, Colo.
