Elliot S. Berman, 64, of West Hartford, died August 12. He was the husband of Susan (Jacobson) Berman. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Roslyn (Dranoff) Berman of West Hartford and the late Isadore Berman. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Russell Berman of Washington, D.C., Courtney Berman of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Alyssa Berman of Boston, Mass., and their mother, Debra Berman of Newington; his brother, Jeffrey Berman and his wife Julie of Schenectady, N.Y.; his step-children, Jacob Schwartz and Joshua Schwartz, both of Farmington; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Jacobson. He was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Sherman Jacobson.
