Jewish High School of CT receives accreditation

The Jewish High School of Connecticut (JHSC) has received full accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), it was announced recently by JHSC Board Chair Randie Weseley. In their assessment, a group of educators analyzed the school and recommended it as a “school of excellence.”

“In 2004, we began with a dream to create a Jewish high school that is committed to educating our students on a journey of a lifetime – an education for life,” Weseley said in making the announcement.  “With the decision by NEASC to grant full accreditation to JHSC, our school has joined the ranks of the elite schools in the northeast.”

“The successful accreditation process has been a remarkable two-year journey made possible by the incredible efforts of the founders, faculty, students, and parents,” Head of School Dr. Yonatan Yussman said. “JHSC is an institution with a brief but exciting past and now with this golden stamp of approval, a compelling future.”
