Calvin “Cal” Zieky, 79, of West Hartford, died Oct. 15. He was the husband of Sandra Travis Zieky. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Harry and Nellie Shuman Zieky. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Arthur Zieky and his partner William Witkowsky of Newington, Linda Zieky Ahern and her husband Richard of Acton, Mass., Pamela Zieky Messing and her husband David of San Ramon, Calif., Elizabeth Rosenberg and her husband David of Lafayette, Calif., and John Rosenthal of Hartford; and his grandchildren, Max, Ben and Sam Ahern, Jack and Josh Messing, and Ally and Jake Rosenberg; his sister, Shirley Zieky Marholin; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Alison Travis.
