Philip Kaufman, 81, of West Hartford died Dec. 24. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Max and Fanny (Insler) Kaufman. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Eichinger and his brother Sol Kaufman. He is survived by his family, Lois and Jim Meltzer, Patti Boxer, Ronnie and Tony Tranchida, Mark Kaufman, and Lawrence Kaufman.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren, Jackie, Jason, Oona, and Kim.
