Joan Berg, 86, of West Hartford, died Jan. 12. She was the wife of Gerald (Jerry) Berg. Born in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Morris and Esther Fields. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jeff Berg and his wife Debra Paget of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Michele Lerer and her husband Rene of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; her grandchildren, Samantha, Lowell, Blake, Ben, and Sam; her sister Judy Shor and her husband Marty of Chevy Chase, Md.; and many nephews and nieces.
