The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) has awarded State Representative Andrew Fleischmann (D – West Hartford) a perfect score on his voting record for environmental issues during the 2014 legislative session. According to CTLCV’s 2014 Environmental Scorecard, Fleischmann has a lifetime score of 96 percent.

“Like the League of Conservation Voters, I am committed to protecting Connecticut’s environmental resources – so that future generations can enjoy clean air, clean water, parks and open space,” said Fleischmann.

The CTLCV’s 15th annual Environmental Scorecard, released on August 6, reflected votes cast on nearly 20 environmental bills that passed through the state’s General Assembly this year.

“Rep. Fleischmann is a longtime champion on environmental issues,” said Lori Brown, CTLCV executive director. “We rely on him to put forward good state policy that protects the health and wellbeing of our communities. He has a wealth of expertise and experience working on these issues, and he has the right values to uphold the standards of his district.”
