Irmgard Rosenzweig Wessel, 88, of New Haven, died Sept. 20. She was the wife of Morris Wessel. Born in Kassel, Germany, she was the daughter of Louis and Grete Kaufmann Rosenzweig. After Kristallnacht, her parents sent her to England on the Kindertransport. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, David of Washington, D.C., Bruce of Santa Monica, Calif., Paul of New Haven, and Lois of Takoma Park, Md.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ernst Rosenzweig.
