JACOBSON

Jack Jacobson, 97, of Enfield, formerly of Windsor Locks, died Oct. 16. He was the widower of Ruth (Flitt) Jacobson. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Hyman and Molly (Brownstein) Jacobson. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941-1945, with the 103rd Airlift Wing, in North Africa and Egypt. He was a longtime member of the former Congregation Teferes Israel. He is survived by his children, Harvey Jacobson and his wife Cathy of Windsor Locks, Rhonda Zavarella and her husband Salvatore of Newington, and David Jacobson and his wife Tammy of Enfield; his grandchildren, Gregory Jacobson, Lisa Nolan, Jason Zavarella and his wife Susan, Daniel Zaarella, Todd Jacobson and Emily Jacobson. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Morris, Nathan, and Charles. HEBREW FUNERAL ASSOCIATION
