Charlotte Alpert Shelnitz, 93, of Aventura, Fla., formerly of New Haven and Boca Raton, Fla., died Oct. 9. She was the widow of Sam Alpert and Dr. Hyman Shelnitz. She was born in Lynn, Mass. She is survived by her children, Andrew Alpert and his wife, Laurie, Fredda Broverman and her husband Leonard, and Sheryl Sessa and her husband, Harold; and her grandchildren, Neelah Pincus and her husband Jason, Brielle Batory and her husband Ben, Shannon Broverman, and Eli Broverman and his wife Lesley Guggenheim.
