Sylvia Korduner, 88, of West Hartford, died Oct. 30. She was the widow of the late Peter Korduner. Born in Volodymyr-Volynsky, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Avrum Leib and Etta. She was a survivor of the Holocaust. She is survived by her children, Anita Fischer of West Hartford, Jack Korduner and his wife Sherri of Norwich, and Lori Murray of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Jonathan Sack and his wife Rivka of California, Marc Sack of West Hartford, Elizabeth Steinman of Florida, John Michael Korduner and his wife Missy of Louisiana, Sarah Fischer of Bloomfield, Daniel Murray and his wife Elizabeth of West Hartford, Rebecca Korduner of Massachusetts, Brandon Murray of Storrs, and Matthew Korduner of Florida; her four great-grandchildren, Noah and Logan Steinman of Florida, and Dovid and Doniel Sack of California; and her stepsister Raye Kramer. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Munish, Srulek, and Yankel; her sisters Betty Shuch and Stella Klein; and her son-in-law Jim Murray. WEINSTEIN MORTUARY
