Get ready to party at the “MatzoBall”

Boston and New York are among several cities throughout the U.S. that will host “MatzoBalls” on Wednesday night, Dec. 24 – a high-end social event that gives hip Jewish singles a place to mix and mingle while the Christian world celebrates Christmas Eve. Launched in 1987 at a bar near Boston University, where creator Andy Rudnik was bartending, what was at first a small local party has morphed into a nationwide event connecting 50,000 young Jewish singles. Coordinated by the Society of Young Jewish Professionals, MatzoBalls reportedly have led to 1,000 marriages (plus a slew of life-long friendships and networking opportunities). Even Rudnik met his wife at a MatzoBall!

The Boston MatzoBall will be held at the Royale Nightclub, 279 Tremont St.

The New York City MatzoBall will be held at Capitale,130 Bowery.
