Florence Bryan Shapiro, 91, of Carmel, Ind., formerly of Stamford, died Jan. 18. She was the widow of Jonas M. Shapiro. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Gertrude (Bryan) Miller. She is survived by her children, Laura, Amy, and Daniel; her grandchildren, Mathew, Eric, and Rachael Holbreicht, and Cara Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.
