Children helping children

One recent afternoon, Mara Brosler, chairperson of Congregation B’nai Torah’s Social Action Committee, helped the preschoolers, like Sally Pelligra (pictured here), fill backpacks with food to help feed those in need. The contents of each backpack – enough to provide seven meals for a child over the course of a weekend – was collected by the preschoolers in the Trumbull synagogue’s nursery school.
