Shirley M. Boxer, 96, of South Windsor, died April 16. She was the widow of Louis Boxer. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Jacob and Gussie (Jacobson) Fierberg. She is survived by her daughters, Maxine Lubow and her husband Stanley of N.Y., Jacqueline Boxer of West Hartford, and Diane Boxer and her spouse Janet Mrozowski-Boxer of South Windsor; her granddaughters, Ilyse Rothman and Kara Rothman, both of Virginia; her great-grandsons, Andre Mikkelson and Jesse Elia, both of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
