Shirley Snyder, 96, of West Hartford and Manchester died March 22. She was the widow of Israel Snyder. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Hyman Goldstein and Golda (Taylor) Goldstein. She was a lifetime member of Temple Beth Sholom B’nai Israel in Manchester. She is survived by her sons, Barry Snyder of West Hartford, and Alan Snyder and his wife Susan of Rowayton; his grandchildren, Lisa Berman and her husband Evan of West Hartford, Jay Snyder and his wife Stephanie of Lafayette, Calif., and Aaron Snyder and his wife Maggie of Miami, Fla.; her great-grandchildren, Hanna Pearl Snyder, Meagan Rose Snyder, Zachary Isaac Snyder, Max Alexander Berman, Brett Israel Berman, and Breelyn Isabel Snyder; and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Linda Forman Snyder, her siblings, Samuel Goldstein and his wife Esther, Evelyn Youlovsky and her husband Louis, and Jeanette Cohen and her husband Morris, two brothers-in-law, Samuel Snyder and his wife Shirley and Louis Snyder and his wife Shirley.
