Barbara (Poruban) Friedman, 94, of Oxford, formerly of Huntington and Bridgeport, died May 26. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Charles Poruban. She was the widow of Harry R. Friedman. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Gluck of Oxford, and Elaine Friedman of Somers; her grandchildren, David Milbauer and his wife Inga of Danbury, Paul Kaufman and his wife Regina of Cantonment, Fla., Debra Laakso and her husband Erik of Somers, and Daryl Kaufman and his wife Janice of Oxford; her great-grandchildren, Fenna and Oliver Milbauer, Caitlyn, Sean and Samantha Kaufman, Jared and Rebecca Laakso and Rachel Kaufman; her brothers, William Poruban of Venice, Fla., and Joseph Poruban and his wife Barbara of Fairfield; her brother-in-law Irving Friedman and his wife Carole of Valley Stream, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
