Donald Cohen, 92, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Milford, died August 19. He was the widower of Pearl (Klein) of Bridgeport. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Morris “Moe” and Sadie (Leventhal) Cohen. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Anselmo-Salerno arena in Italy during World War II. He was an active member of Temple B’nai Shalom. He is survived by his children, Marcy Horenstein of Laguna Beach, Calif., Clifford Cohen and his wife Joan of Hamden, and Ronald Cohen and his wife Jan of East Hartford; his siblings, Roslyn Kosowsky of Hamden, Edward Cohen and his wife Libby of Delray Beach, Fla., and George Cohen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; his grandchildren, Joshua, Elana, Daniel, Jacob, Raymond, Zachary, and Dana; his great-grandson Camden; his partner Louis Manas of Delray Beach, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
