Phyllis (Sachs) Katz, 87, of West Hartford, died Oct. 15. She was the wife of Sherman Katz. She was the daughter of the late Marian Casman Sachs and Nathan G. Sachs of New Haven. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Marjorie Katz and her husband William Nicholson of Sudbury, Mass., and Nancy Rossler and her husband Donald Katz of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Lindsey Nicholson and husband Andrew Beaton, Sara Nicholson, Michael Rossler and Drew Rossler; and her great-grandchild Patrick Beaton. She was also predeceased by her sister Janet Saslow of Hamden.
