Learning about Dr. King in New London

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Dianne Zimmer, who teaches grades two and three at Solomon Schechter Academy of New London taught her students, as well as the school’s fourth-graders, about the significant role the late Civil Rights leader played in the history of the United States. Looking on is the Head of School Barbara Wolfe, who also teaches the fourth grade. Following the lesson, students created their own “I Have a Dream” speeches.
