Anne Watstein, 99, of West Hartford, formerly of Hamden, died Jan. 8. She was the widow of Morton Watstein. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of Esther and Max Sohcot. She was also predeceased by her five brothers and her sister Rose Sohcot Leichtman. She is survived by her children Maxine Kates and her husband Richard of Avon, Raymond Watstein and his wife Sharon of Sharon, Mass.; her grandchildren, Robin Walden and her husband Jeffrey, Stephen Kates and his wife Shana, Julie Daniels and her husband Richard, Adam Watstein and his wife Angelina, and Matthew Watstein and his wife Suzie; her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, and Alexis Walden, Jordan and Madison Kates, Naomi, Roee and Kayla Watstein, and Samantha and Allison Daniels; and many nieces and nephews.
