Nelson L. Alpert, 90, of Stamford, died Feb. 12. He was the husband of Ruth Sachs Alpert. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stephen Alpert and his wife Jane, and Nancy Halpert and her husband Marc; his grandchildren, Sarah, Benjamin, Dan and Jenny; and several nieces and nephews.
